Materials

Pink yarn - Exact yarn in Magenta Blooms - we used 2 skeins

Crochet hook that matches the yarn size

Scissors

Brick Clips - Found on Amazon

Steps

  1. Crochet six 10’ long single chains - leave enough yarn to tie loops on the end.

  2. Fold the 10’ chains in half and stack them together at the fold.

  3. Tie strands together at the fold & trim the excess string.

  4. Lay the chains on the ground and spread each piece out in a radial pattern. These are the straight lines of the spider web, so space them according to your final desired look.

  5. Make another long single chain. This will be used as the spiral piece. Again, I don’t remember how long we made this one, but I do remember we just made more as needed.

  6. Starting in the center, lay the new chain out in a spiral pattern around the radial chains you previously laid out.

  7. Cut a bunch of 3-4” pieces of yarn.

  8. Tie the spiral chain to the radial chain at each intersection. Double knot and trim excess tie pieces. TIP: We used the crochet hook to thread the yarn through the chains.

  9. Hang & enjoy!

We topped our webs off with 5 spiders… two 50” and three 20” spiders.
