Back to School Tree

This tree is never up for long because we have an August birthday! I’m pretty sure my kids think this tree is cringy, but I enjoy the first day of school picture in front of this tree!

Every year I add a new wooden number. Originally, I got these school themed wooded cut outs, drilled holes into each of them and added string to turn them into ornaments. Some of the small apples are glued to tiny clothes pins and the others I got glued a pipe cleaner to them to make a floral pick. The miniature chalkboards have various school related messages like ‘ABC’ and ‘A+’ written on them. Wish I started this one earlier!
