Step 1: Press flowers. Lay fresh flowers in coffee filters, then press using a flower press. Periodically tighten the press for flatter flowers.
Step 2: Laminate Dry Flowers... wait until flowers are completely dry. Dry time varies, be patient. The dryer and flatter the flowers, the better the outcome.
Step 3: Trim... be mindful of where you will punch the hole.
Step 4: Punch the hole. Trim excess laminate plastic to desired look.
Step 5: Add coordinating embroidery floss.
Another idea…
A few years ago, my son made these with his teacher. Such a cute idea! She had him take a picture with his arms raised, trimmed and laminated the picture, punched a hole on his hand, and attached the embroidery floss. Simple and ADORABLE!
