Smoked Salmon Bruschetta
Ingredients
1 large baguette
olive oil
1/2 lemon zest
1 tablespoon lemon juice
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped… save a bit for garnish
1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped
8 oz. smoked salmon, rough chop or torn for easier bites
whole grain mustard
capers
1 red onion, chopped… pictured above: I had pickled red onions on hand that I diced & used. They were a yummy substitution!
Steps
Preheat oven 350°
Cut bread on bias, drizzle with oil, bake 10-15 minutes, flip half way through
Mix zest, lemon juice, cream cheese, dill, & chives. Use hand mixer on medium for about 2 minutes or until light and fluffy
Top bread with cream cheese, salmon, onion, mustard, capers & dill
